Bri’s Lyme Disease Hack: Healing Through Mindset, Purpose & Holistic Health

Bri Lyme Disease Lyme Hack 2026

Bri shares a powerful Lyme Hack centered on holistic healing: true recovery comes from addressing not just the physical symptoms, but your mental and spiritual well-being as well.

  1. Look at Your Whole Being
    • Healing from chronic Lyme disease goes beyond physical treatment.
    • Addressing mental and spiritual health is just as important.
    • A balanced, whole-body approach can support deeper recovery.
  2. Slow Down and Be Intentional
    • Chronic illness can force you to reevaluate your pace of life.
    • Taking time to slow down allows for more mindful healing.
    • Being intentional with your time and energy can improve overall well-being.
  3. Turn Pain Into Purpose
    • Finding purpose can transform the healing journey.
    • Practices like yoga and mindfulness can support both physical and emotional recovery.
    • Gratitude for small moments can shift perspective and build resilience.

Bri’s message highlights that healing is not just about eliminating symptoms—it’s about creating meaning, balance, and purpose along the way.

“Try to turn any pain into purpose and be grateful for every day and the small things.” – Bri

Matt Sabatello, Co-Founder of Tick Boot Camp: We’re here continuing our in-person Lyme Hackathon. I want to first ask you to introduce yourself and then tell us what your Lyme hack would be for the Lyme disease community—a tip that can help them overcome this horrible disease.

Bri: Hi, my name is Bri. I’ve had chronic Lyme disease for five years now. I try not to say I “have” it; I try not to associate it with me per se. But a hack I would suggest is looking at your whole being—not just the physical, but your mental and spiritual health, too. When I was first diagnosed, I tried to do everything more physically, but as I continued to get better, I turned to yoga. I actually became a teacher as well. I feel like that really doubled my healing in terms of the spiritual side of it. It gave me more purpose, and now I’m trying to turn any pain into purpose. So, I think the biggest hack is to maybe slow down, look at your life more intentionally, and be grateful for every day and all the little things, too.

Matt: That’s a wonderful hack. Thank you so much.
