“Hi, fellow Tick Boot Campers. My name is Ashley Marba and I’m here to share my Lyme Hacks. I have three things that helped me the most. Number one is eating an anti-inflammatory diet. I have some food allergies and food sensitivities, so I had to cut out gluten, dairy, and soy, and then I’m really focusing on healing my gut. So I eat a lot of things like kimchi, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and things like that. The second thing is to get your bloodwork done and get your iron levels, vitamin D, and things like that and then get high-quality supplements to replace them if they’re low. Number three, move your body every day. Whether that’s gentle yoga, walking in the sunshine, or physical therapy exercises, anything to help improve your circulation, sweat, and get oxygen to those vital organs.
