Ashley Iovinelli’s Lyme Hack:
Ashley Iovinelli wants to make sure everyone dealing with Lyme disease nurtures their nervous system. This has been the one thing that really stands out among all the things she’s learned during her Lyme journey.
No, this is not just mindset. This goes deeper. It looks at the physiological impact that living in a state of chronic disease and chronic stress can do to our body.
Basically, it puts us into a fight-or-flight mode, which is survival. Your body just focuses on getting by. How can we heal in this state? We can’t!
You have to work to strengthen and tone your vagus nerve, so you can reset/rewire your nervous system to be at a more normal state, so your body is able to better heal. You can do these techniques at home, which is the best part!
Ashley was diagnosed with Lyme disease almost 6 years ago. Along with it, came many comorbidities, including Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), mold toxicity, and chronic migraines to name a few. She went from being an active mother to not being able to move from the couch. Ms. Iovinelli had unexplainable pain that migrated throughout her entire body. She was tested for Lyme at the beginning of her journey, but it came back negative. It wasn’t until a year and a half later that she finally received a positive test.
