Dani Tygr’s Lyme Hack:
Dani Tygr wants everyone in the Lyme community to have courage. Initially, Dani’s Lyme diagnosis held her captive to fear. Eventually, it gave her an opportunity to embrace a completely different version of herself. Yes, Lyme disease is really difficult. Try and find courage to accept who you are and build that courage to change who you are. Just because you find yourself in a situation/diagnosis that you can’t change, it doesn’t mean you can’t do things to better who you are, take care of yourself, and even advocate/fight for yourself and your health. Dani starts everyday with a conversation with God. She is reminded, encouraged, and renewed to remember who she is. Remember, you are loved, you are worthy, you are enough, and you are worth fighting for. Dani also asks God to help her accept the reality of her situation. Work on finding gratitude for all that you are and all that you have. Find courage to make healthy choices. Every little choice makes a huge difference. Let go of anger and defeat. You don’t have to be perfect. Spend some time in your joy and your blessings so you can continue on with your day in love. Try this every day! Dani admits she’s not always successful with this, but she tries every day. Changes do happen little by little. Have hope! Healing is possible. Stay encouraged.
