First, contact your doctor to discuss your options for Lyme disease and co-infections testing. The earlier you test, the more likely you are to get a proper diagnosis and treatment to prevent a chronic condition. Patients who can begin treatment in the early stages of tick-borne disease often recover quickly and completely. The IgXSpot is an Elispot test which looks at the response of the patient’s T cells to the disease. It’s very good for early detection before you start producing an antibody response.
