“Hi everyone. Happy Lyme Disease Awareness Month. My name is Romy, and I am so honored and excited to be back for another Lyme Hackathon this year with Tick Boot Camp. My Lyme hack this year is to create a playlist of songs that you just know will instantly boost your mood. I have found music to be so healing and so helpful in my journey. It has really been something I’ve turned to on my hardest days and on my best days. It’s a way to really celebrate where I’m at and reflect on where I’m at. But, recently I created a playlist called “When in Doubt”. It’s inspired by When in Doubt, Dance it Out. This playlist is just all songs that bring me instant joy, instantly make me feel gratitude for where I am in my journey and just myself, life, the people around me. And I play this playlist even if I’m not feeling well, I just lay down listen to the whole playlist, and I always feel better afterwards, and just feel more grounded and present. And I think really, just using music and its healing abilities has been so helpful for me. So let me know if you try it out.
