Christa Nannos’ Lyme Hack: Lower Histamine to Unlock Healing

Christa Nannos Lyme Hack 2025

Lyme Disease Tip Summary:

Christa Nannos, health coach and author of Tick Tock, It’s Lyme O’Clock, reveals a critical but often overlooked piece of the Lyme healing puzzle: histamine overload and how to manage it for better treatment tolerance and symptom relief.

  1. Recognize Histamine as a Hidden Barrier

    • Histamine is a chemical your body releases during immune responses—commonly linked to allergies, but also triggered by mold, parasites, Lyme, and detox.

    • Chronic infections can fill your histamine bucket, making you reactive to foods, supplements, and even your environment.

  2. Understand the Link to MCAS

    • When histamine becomes dysregulated, it can lead to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).

    • Symptoms may flare during treatment, especially with alcohol-based tinctures or harsh detoxes, which aggravate the system.

  3. Lower Histamine for Better Symptom Management

    • Christa recommends three strategies to reduce histamine load:

      • Dietary changes to remove high-histamine foods

      • Targeted supplements to calm histamine responses

      • Nervous system regulation, which reduces reactivity and inflammation

  4. Make It a Foundation for Healing

    • Lowering histamine helped Christa dramatically improve her ability to tolerate treatments and reduce symptoms.

    • It’s a game changer she now teaches in her coaching work through Ignite Coaching with Christa.

“It’s really crucial to start lowering histamine in your body so you can manage treatments better and feel better symptom-wise. It was a game changer for me.” – Christa Nannos

“Hey, Tick Boot Camp followers. My Lyme hack is going to be on histamine. Now, this is a big missing piece of the puzzle for many people battling Lyme disease, especially if you’ve been exposed to mold, toxicity, and parasites. Now, histamine is a chemical that our immune system releases when we’re having an allergic reaction to something you may know of anti-histamines for people that have allergies outside. But the truth is, when you’re battling these chronic infections, especially when you’re living in mold, our histamine bucket internally gets filled and we start reacting to things where we might not actually be allergic to them. So it’s really, really crucial to start lowering histamine in your body so you can manage treatments better, and you start to feel better symptom-wise. It’s a game changer in this journey. It was for me. Now you may understand about Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which is MCAS. This is when histamine goes haywire, and it can happen when we’re treating too hard and we’re taking tinctures that are based in alcohol and ethanol. Now, quickly, some ways to lower histamine are going to be through dietary choices, going to be through supplementation, and also nervous system work. I help people in this realm. If you don’t know who I am, I’m Christa. I’m a certified health coach with my coaching business, Ignite Coaching with Christa, and I wrote a best-selling book called Tick Tock It’s Lyme O’clock. I hope this tip helps you today. Sending lots of love and happy healing.” – Christa Nannos
