My hack this time is the 4-7-8 breathing technique. Oftentimes, we have been stuck in a fight or flight mode and that can trigger chronic illness and all sorts of ailments and dis-ease in the body. So, we didn’t get there overnight. We’re not expecting your body’s to get out of it. However, there are tools, resources, and techniques to get us where we want to be, to the appropriate homeostasis. So this one’s easy. It’s just breathing in for 4, holding for 7, and releasing for 8. Just make sure that that exhale is the longest. That’s what stimulates the vagus nerve. That’s what convinces our body “hey, we’re safe, we’re okay”. It also increases our Heart Rate Variability (HRV), etc, etc. So, I hope you guys use it.
