Brooke Stoddard’s Lyme Hack:
Brooke Stoddard’s Lyme hack is all about listening. It’s for anyone out there who knows and loves someone with Lyme. Perhaps you’re a parent, a partner, a friend, a caregiver of someone with Lyme disease. This Lyme hack is for you.
For the Lyme disease patient who you care about, one of the best things you can do to support that person right now, is to just listen. Listen to this person tell you about his/her experience with Lyme and his/her symptoms, his/her treatment protocols.
From personal experience, Brooke will never forget how much he appreciated the people in his life who just listened when he wanted to tell them about his experience with Lyme. It was so validating. For the Lyme disease patient in your life, he/she will appreciate it so much when you listen to his/her experience.
Brooke is a 39-year-old resident of New York City, New York. In 2010, Brooke’s Lyme Disease symptoms became career threatening: brain fog made it difficult to find words to complete sentences and occasionally he would have a conversation with a co-worker and realize that he couldn’t remember their name. Over the past 6 years, Brooke has treated with the famous Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD), Dr. Kenneth Liegner, using Disulfiram to regain 95% of his health. Brooke is a co-founder of Generation Lyme, a not-for-profit organization empowering young people facing Lyme disease, one story at a time. Generation Lyme has weekly themed Zoom meetups for those with Lyme disease.
